Mix it up!

Interleaving is the process of ‘mixing up’ what you’re learning for best results. Particularly useful in preparation for mocks and exams, though also relevant to practical performance in subjects such as sport and music!
Example
Below is an example of a poster helping students prepare for mock exams in January 2024. The left page starts by linking to the Smart Learning videos but at the bottom, there is an instruction to group topics into colours and then interleave them through the revision calendar.
Important: This doesn’t mean do Biology on a green day, Maths on a blue day etc. It means break up topics from all subjects across the colours. So do “Cells” and “Algebra” on a green day and “Digestion” and “Fractions” on a blue day…
